I am curious as to why the 2019 edition functions properly when the 2018 version did not. I might try downloading/installing the 2018 version again, to see if the changes I made to my computer will also allow 2018 to function properly too. The good news is that after downloading/installing a trial version of the 2019 edition, it now runs properly! Adobe premiere elements 13 move accross screen update#Then please update your post with any info you might come across.Īs you may have seen from my previous comments to this thread, I was getting this exact same "We have detected an incompatible display driver" error when I would try to run Photoshop Premier Elements 2018 after I installed it. Adobe premiere elements 13 move accross screen drivers#So if you could try both your computer manufacturer for drivers and Adobe about the seemingly incompatible video driver, it would be fantastic. but it makes no sense for me to shell out the cash when it appears (from your post) that it won't run on my new Lenovo machine either. I could buy the 2019 version to get the support. ![]() More importantly, have you contacted Adobe customer service and requested assistance? According to Steve Grisetti, (who commented above), because you have the 2019 version, Adobe should (in theory) try to help you o. (As far as I can see, you didn't mention exactly which make/model your computer is, so I can't find a link for you. ![]() Adobe premiere elements 13 move accross screen driver#Sometimes the computer manufacturers issue their own driver updates, so you might want to check for driver downloads on their site as well. You mentioned you have checked your OS to make sure the latest driver is installed. I'm just wondering if you have made any progress in your Premier Elements 2019 vs. Just a side note on that topic, I did make sure I am on the "current best driver" at the OS level (to no avail), so I went to the Levono site and downloaded their own driver. So as soon as I hear anything back from Lenovo, I'll update my own post. Adobe premiere elements 13 move accross screen software#That is, it's an interesting question on who is ultimately responsible to make sure the drivers for physical devices and software designed to run on them are compatible with each other. These driver things are kind of a "the chicken and the egg" type of thing. So tomorrow, I will file a help ticket with them and hope for the best. It's pretty popular software, so they might look into it. My Lenovo laptop is only two weeks old, so I'm quite sure I can contact them and demonstrate that what ever video driver they are using is not compatible with Adobe Premier Elements 2018-2019. It makes little sense for me to shell out cash for a piece of software I highly suspect won't run on my machine (so far). Adobe premiere elements 13 move accross screen upgrade#In order to get "support" from Adobe Cust Svc, I hesitate to upgrade from my 2018 version to the 2019 version since it already appears (from Dimitri's post) that the newer version would not work either. So I dropped him a note and asked if he has done contacted them yet. Since the original thread owner (Dimitri) is on Premier Elements 2019, he (if I am understanding you correctly) should qualify for customer support from Adobe. Thanks for your post and clarification of the forum. So what's going on here? It appears I am not the only one unable to Startup Adobe Premier Elements 2018 (although Adobe Elements 2018 seems to work fine.) One last piece of info is my Sys info that tells the exact version of Win 10 I am running and the computer make/model: It's always after this happens that the graphics driver warning window will pop up.Įventually the entire startup window for Adobe Premier Elements 2018 just drops off of my screen. Oddly enough, by the time it appears, the Adobe Premier Elements process will close in the Task manager. So now when I try to start the program, I will get that same "out of date graphics driver message". Here is how the Graphics driver info looks now: (That did no good, however, as the same error window pops up even with the updated Graphics driver installed. It indeed did initially show that there was an updated driver available, so I installed that new driver. So I checked my driver (an "Intel HD Graphics" driver). but stops there:Īlso when I check the task manager, I'll see the process running there:Įventually, the following error warning that the graphic display driver is out of date will show up: Since then, whenever I try to start Premier Elements 2018, it gets only as far as this opening window. ![]() So I ended up having to kill the Adobe Elements process in the task manager. I could not move past that, however, as there were no buttons to click other than "buy it". The first few times I tried to run it, the initial window opened to an "ad" trying to sell me PE 2019. My Adobe Premier Elements is the 2018 version.Īdobe Elements (for still photos) opens fine but Premier Elements 2018 does not. I am seeing this same issue on my new Lenovo 8185. ![]()
